Kerstin Wade has more than a decade of experience defending the rights of her clients in criminal court. She has worked as a criminal defense attorney since 2010 and has handled thousands of cases. Kerstin Wade started her career at the Manatee County Public Defender’s Office, where she worked for a year, before becoming a private criminal defense attorney. She has successfully represented clients on misdemeanors, felonies, violations of probation cases and traffic tickets and has extensive pretrial motion experience and trial experience.
Kerstin graduated from Michigan State University College of Law While in law school, she interned at a local public defender’s office for several years. That’s where she gained her first experience handling pretrial motion hearings and even a trial. Kerstin also interned at a state attorney’s office for one semester in order to gain inside knowledge on how the state puts together their case and makes charging decisions. She is now able to use that experience when defending her clients.
