Attorney at Law
Attorney Danielle Padilla has been working in the legal field since 2010 and brings a unique, well-rounded perspective to her role as an Associate Attorney at Gans Law. With experience on both sides of the justice system, Danielle combines academic excellence, real-world law enforcement insight, and a deep commitment to protecting her clients’ constitutional rights.
Danielle earned her Juris Doctorate from Florida A&M University College of Law, where she distinguished herself academically and served as a Teaching Assistant for Evidence. She excelled in key courses such as Criminal Procedure and Florida Constitutional Law, and further strengthened her legal foundation by earning an additional college degree in Criminal Justice. She completed her undergraduate studies in Legal Studies at the University of Central Florida (UCF).
Before becoming an attorney, Danielle was sworn in as a Police Officer in 2010, serving her community for several years. During her time in law enforcement, she handled investigations ranging from misdemeanors to serious felony offenses, conducting interviews, gathering evidence, and working closely with prosecutors. She also received specialized training in Interview and Interrogation techniques and earned a certification in Mental Health Crisis identification. This background gives her a trained eye for spotting critical errors in police investigations, including violations of Miranda rights—skills that now directly benefit her clients in criminal defense cases.
While completing her undergraduate degree, Danielle proposed a Youth Diversion Program designed to help young individuals accused of underage drinking avoid long-term consequences. Her proposal was selected by the former State Attorney and remains implemented within the circuit today. Danielle is proud to have her name attached to a program that continues to guide youth toward positive outcomes and second chances.
Danielle is bilingual, allowing her to serve a broader segment of the community with clarity and compassion. Outside of the courtroom, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and children and stays active through boxing, weightlifting, and jump-rope cardio sessions.
Attorney Padilla believes the justice system is a swinging pendulum—and she is committed to working tirelessly to make sure it swings in her clients’ favor.
